Well, THAT happened, and I have to say: it could not have been better. Our friends and families came through for us with love and indescribable generosity, and if I ever look back on the day with anything but unfettered joy and gratitude, someone needs to kick me in the back of the head. Hard.
We're on Bequia now (where, you may ask? Exactly!) and I'll report back next week with cake recipes and a blow-by-blow. But for now, the world has a brand-new shine on it, and I'm afraid if I type too much (or stare at the computer too long), it'll rub off.
